Poly Group Participates in the 8th China International Import Expo
On November 5, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai. This year’s expo reached a record scale, with 155 countries, regions and international organizations taking part and more than 4,000 overseas exhibitors. Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech, noting that “China will unswervingly advance high-standard opening-up, steadily expand institutional opening-up, and promote pilot and demonstration programs for the comprehensive opening-up of the service sector.”
Mr. Wu Shengyue, President of Poly Group, attended the opening ceremony, the launch of the “Sharing a Big Market · Export to China” series of activities, and the sub-forum “Open Cooperation for Resilient Global Industrial and Supply Chains.” He toured the pavilions for technical equipment, biomedicine, medical and health care, and innovation incubation, and conducted a dedicated review of the work on the Jewelry Pavilion, for which China National Arts and Crafts Group was responsible for exhibitor recruitment.

At this year’s CIIE, Poly Group’s trade delegation secured major procurement results. China Arts Weaving under Poly International signed agreements with companies from Kazakhstan, Singapore, Vietnam, France and Ethiopia, with total procurement reaching $1.35 billion. The products cover bulk commodities such as electrolytic copper and timber as well as consumer goods such as coffee and cocoa, helping to secure domestic industrial demand and enrich consumer choice. China National Arts and Crafts Group has undertaken the recruitment and operation of the CIIE Jewelry Pavilion for eight consecutive years, this year attracting 162 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions. Its subsidiary, China Arts Oriental, has supplied diplomatic and business gifts to the CIIE for many years; for the first time, its “China Craft” brand has been co-branded with the CIIE, launching a range of cultural and creative products.
The expo demonstrates China’s firm commitment to working with the world for shared progress and win-win cooperation. Poly Group will actively contribute to the building of an open world economy and inject new momentum into high-standard opening-up and high-quality development through concrete actions.
