“Poly Ripples” Grassroots Storytelling Showcase Concludes
Setting sail with ripples, forging ahead through innovation. On February 10, Poly Group held the “Poly Ripples” grassroots storytelling showcase in Beijing, announcing the award-winning works in its two main categories — “Ripples in Images” and “Ripples in Words” — and in the AIGC creation sub-category. The event reviewed the Group’s journey of endeavor during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and looked ahead to the new chapter of the 15th Five-Year Plan. Mr. Zu Bin, Chairman of Poly Group, attended the event and extended New Year greetings to all employees. Members of the Group’s leadership team and external directors were also present. Grassroots Poly employees from across the Group’s diverse businesses were specially invited to the venue for a warm reunion to welcome the New Year together.

Structured around three chapters — “Rising Tide,” “Breaking Waves” and “Voyaging Far” — the event announced the first, second and third prizes and excellence awards in the two main categories and screened the three first-prize works. From the mega-projects that form the backbone of the Greater Bay Area and the solid commitment to serving millions of households, to the renewal models that confront the pains of transformation and the blasting know-how honed on snow-covered plateaus, and further to the Poly-style bonds forged in Africa, the wholehearted devotion to safeguarding the nation’s youth and the cultural light that powers rural revitalization, each “ripple story” gave expression to Poly’s spiritual character and to the momentum of its steady and rising development. The event also specially released the award-winning works in the AIGC sub-category, demonstrating Poly’s innovative achievements in turning new quality communication capacity into public opinion leadership, value appeal and corporate cohesion.

The “Poly New Voice” host team presented a poetry recital, “Journey Across Mountains and Seas, Ripples of the Original Aspiration”; Poly Developments staged the musical “Twelve Hours of a Poly Employee,” bringing a working day from sunrise to moonrise within reach of the senses; Poly Culture paid tribute, through a medley of songs, to every “true hero” quietly devoted to an ordinary post. The event drew to a close with the crystal-clear children’s chorus of Poly WeDo.

The event was strongly supported by People’s Daily Online, Communication University of China, and the magazines State-Owned Assets Report and China SOE. It was attended by representatives of employees at the Group headquarters, the Group’s sci-tech innovation experts and master craftsmen, and employee representatives from its subsidiaries.
